where am I?
I think it's about time I'm using this thing here again. maybe it'd be a good idea to list every day's accomplishments, so I can track how far I've come, how much I do, so I can remind myself every so often that I'm not just wasting my life away without anything ever happening for me.
ok, so here goes:
earlier this month, I signed up with a university in the north. no, I'm not moving, it's a distance learning kinda jobby. next month, they'll deduct the tuition fees (ouch), and I've already noticed that I'm way behind with maths. unfortunately, it's exactly the sort I'd made a complete mess with in my last years of school. so, I went and bought a coupla books on maths and started going through them. one of them, maths for business scientists, is hardcover, about the size of 2 bricks (and it weighs about the same as you'd expect 2 bricks to weigh) and I already see myself throwing it.... at someone. ;-))
practised with it for 2 hours last tuesday night, an hour yesterday afternoon, an hour today. I'm slow, still. I suck at mental arithmetric. I need to practise that, coz I already heard that calculaters aren't allowed in the tests. suuuuper, thanks oodles...
